About the Class
Imagine juicy peaches all year round. We will show you how to can fresh peaches in your choice of pure white grape juice or apple juice. NO SUGAR ADDED!
You will learn how to blanch the whole peach to quickly release the skins. We will have a free-stone variety, so that the peach pit comes away clean. You can then have peach slices or peach halves, whatever suits your fancy. Then we will quickly process in a hot water bath to seal in the freshness.
Your canned peaches will remain fresh for a full year without any refrigeration.
Join us for this hands-on class. All levels welcome.
TAKE AWAY: 2 jars of peaches
SUPPLIES: An apron, small paring knife, cutting board, and a box or bag to take home your hot peaches
