About the Class
Sweeten up your summer! Kids (10 years and up) will spend 2 hours creating three summer treats that are easy to reproduce at home.
On the menu: Fruit Salsas with homemade, flavored Pita Chips, a unique and fun summer favorite "No Fire S'mores", and Fruit Kabobs with a Yogurt Dip!
COST + FEES: $46.60/person

About the Instructor
I graduated culinary school in 2012 but started my business in 2001 as a hobby that turned into my passion. I originally went back to school for pastry but fell in love with the savory part of culinary education. I am currently a private, in-home chef for clients in Oak Brook for the past 4 years and deliver healthy meals to 10 clients on a weekly basis.
Spices play a big part of my menus. I worked in a spice shop while in school to learn all I could about spices, something they do not teach you in culinary school. I enjoyed it so much that I stayed working and managed Savory Spice Shop in Hinsdale and Lincoln Square on the North side of the Chicago up until 2014. I met Gayatri (owner of SAAGE) at the Farmer's Market over spices and the rest is history! I am excited to share my knowledge and do what I love to do.
